Hey guys what is a good partner mod? I have seen some mods where the partner is actually shot dead by police officers needless to say I don't want that to happen to my partner

There is "Yet Another Partner Mod" on this site, but I've not used it.  I use Police Partner by Darkmyre, and it works flawlessly.

Hey I download installed yet another partner but how do I use it there are no instructions to use it

Off the top of my head, I think 9.  Not entirely sure.  Check the INI for that.

I haven't used that partner mod yet, so I unfortunately don't know. It should've came with a .INI you can read to find the keybind.

According to the YAPM page, there is an INI file in which you can see what the keybind is.  Please make sure you read the file information if you plan to download mods.  The author will sometimes put the key configs in the description or say how to use it.

 

To select a partner after going on-duty, walk close to any police officer and press select key (default NumPad0 - for rest of configurable keybindings look inside provided *.ini file), partner will follow You, and will be under Your command. Until he dies, he is in the same group as You, under Your command. When he dies go to nearest police station or any policeman on street and select him to repeat process.
