Slow System or Insufficient Permissions

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I'm sure I am not the only person with this issue.  I want to get into LSPDFR so bad, but I keep running into problems at every turn.  I first downloaded this on my gf's simple dell laptop.  It would load, but about 5-10 mins into play I would get 5 rapid beeps and then it would crash.  I assumed it was because her laptop was not capable of keeping up with the game.  I recently purchased my own Dell laptop specifically made for gaming, now I am running into a different set of problems.  I tried my former version saved on a flash drive, but again got the 5 rapid beeps and a crash.  I loaded a fresh copy of GTA via steam onto my regular hard drive, but I am now running into a different set of problems while I am trying to get everything set back up.

When I go to open the RPH.exe file, it will start with the initial loading screen.  After a few seconds, the game itself will start but the RPH load screen will still be there and it will say "slow system or insufficient permissions."  RPH itself will error our and say something like "bad anti virus/insufficient permissions," all while GTA will still be playing in the background.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

Hi there.

First off, since you're playing on a laptop, remember to keep the charging cable plugged in the entire time you play GTA.  It will help with the frames.

Second, make sure you're running RagePluginHook as admin.

I need donations to help fund my food addiction. DM for details 😂

Swicting the power options to performance may help but to be honest, unless it's a serious laptop one with a dedicated gpu your always going to have problems I dealt with it for awhile till I had one built.
