When you pull someone over, the siren automatically sounds briefly, and you hear the driver swear loudly.  The latter especially is very unrealistic, and the former is unrealistic if I did not press the MAN button myself.

Is there a way to get rid of these sounds, or a mod to do so?

Actually, both of these are 100% realistic.  In real life officers will blip their siren when pulling someone over. Granted, some will let the siren play a bit longer.  The swearing part I can understand for some who might not like swearing.  Unfortunately, I'm not entirely sure if there's a way to 'fix' that.  There is the Family Friendly Free Roaming mod, but I'm not sure if that applies to AI drivers.

That depends where you live.  I have been pulled over twice and both times they only used lights.  I think in certain states - California if I remember correctly - they are legally required to blip the siren.  In other states, I believe the siren is only used if the driver fails to notice the lights.  In any case, the fact that it's doing it for me rather than me having to do it myself is definitely unrealistic.

 

As for the swearing, I don't dislike it because I have a problem with swearing in the game, I dislike it because it's just unrealistic.  How can you hear what someone's saying all the way up in the car ahead of you?
