Hi Brandon.  The best thing to do is watch tutorials such as the ones I linked below.  Installing Rage and LSPDFR are fairly simple, but you have to actually follow the install instructions for it to work. :)

 

 

yeah ive been watching that video, i just seem to be having trouble installing the game its self, i installed disc 1 says insert disc 2 nothing happens, im not a computer guy by any means, not sure what to do i have disc one installing again here!

Unfortunately, I cannot help you there.  I use the Steam version, and haven't touched an actual game disc in a while. There might be GTA disc installing tutorials on YT

For some reason it would not let me install disc, so i just bought it from steam gonna try that out thanks!

okay cool, once i get this up and running fingers crossed is there a way to hook up a xbox 360 controller or do you just have to use the computer controls ?

I'm not entirely sure if a regular Xbox controller will work, but I imagine it should.  I use a Thrustmaster GPX controller, which is an Xbox 360 controller, but more meant for PC.
