Re-Dowloaded GTAV to Clean-Up No Longer Working

I decided to completely delete ALL of the GTAV, lspdfr, rage, etc because of how out of hand and confusing my files got before I knew what I was doing! Upon redownloading (retail) version of the game (on Windows 10) and necessary downloads for lspdfr I've run into an issue. After downloading the game, GTAV says it's ready to play and it allows me to launch the game normally and play. However, after I set up a new folder for playing lspdfr and lunch from the Rage Plugin Hook the GTAV Socal Club eventually pops up and starts a re-download of the game?? At this point, no matter where I launch from (original download, the backup copy, new lspdfr folder) it seems to be affected and wants to re-download the entire game. I've let it thinking there was an issue, but then the same thing happens all over again! Any help would be gratefully appreciated! Cheers!!

Have you used a different hard drive this only happens when the game looks for the files in the default install location and the files are not there. What do you mean by setup new folder for LSPDFR? That should be in your main game directory.

Thanks for the response. I've only used 1 HD for my gaming and things related to GTAV and LSPDFR. As far as "setup new folder" I meant to say that I made a copy of the untouched original and even though I never accessed it, it still seemed to be corrupted when I would try to access it to "try" and run the normal version of GTAV.

 

Since I posted the question however, I redid everything and launched RAGE without the autoload selection checked and it just launched and allowed me to access the F4 controls. I am going to try and manually load LSPDFR and see if I have any luck!!
