hey I hope I'm posting this in the right section but I'm trying to swap out the coroner van with the black addon vehicle...ive done all in the read me but it says to click file at top left corner and select rebuild....however I'm not finding it... can anyone help me?

Hi there.    OIV doesn't have a 'rebuild' button.  How it works is that once you click "edit mode", anything you do from that point to your game files will be saved automatically and immediately.  It's always advised that you click edit mode again to disable it once you're done editing what you need to.

Ok so I'm not crazy lol I've been trying to get the coroner van to spawn when I call it but it's always the regular van and I've done everything in the read me... I don't get it lol

Install the replacement files in the very latest patchday that has a vehicles.rpf.

so its still spawning the blank van I don't get it I did everything the read me told me to do I even put the files in latest patch day.... I'm trying to make it to when I call coroner in its the van I want but its not lol

Can you please link to this 'blacl van' you're referencing? All the coroner vans I've seen uploaded were white.

I think that instead of just putting in car variation files and vehicles meta files from the download folder I have to manually go into codes and change it right? unless the included metas in the download file do that automatically for me?

I'm sorry, what are you referring to?  Change what codes?

I'm sorry, you're not really explaining what you mean.

 

The only time you need to edit anything is if this is a standalone vehicle.

Haha sorry about that... I don't really know how else to explain it... I know how to add vehicles in but for some reason I'm having trouble with the coroner... I kinda gave up lol is there anyway to at least put a coroner livery on the van that spawns when u call it?

Unfortunately not.  By default the mod uses the standard Rumpo, so if you add a livery onto it, every single Rumpo will have one.
