Strange Behaviour - No Pull Over

Hi all,

 

Been away from LSPDFR for about 9 months but glad to be back again. Complete fresh install of LSPDFR and GTA5, Only using Albo Mods and ELS.

 

LSPDFR is running as is, I get callouts and others from the LSPDFR engine, no crashes or errors. I can arrest people and normal features. However I cannot pull vehicles over at all. I have had a call out of an ANPR activation, get behind the car, mod asks me to stop it but nothing happens with left shift. I havent touched the LSPDFR config file or any other files for that matter, Re-installed a couple of times to be sure. Game is stable, no crashes and works as is. 

 

Any ideas?

Most likely the issue is with ELS.  In your main GTA V directory, open ELS INI and look for "ELSTRAFCTRL", set to false.  This should fix it.

Sadly no difference.

I wouldn't advise that just yet.

 

Are you pressing shift when right on their bumper?  Do you see the red icon on your map indicating they are blipped?  When you turn on your lights, are you right on their bumper?  Do you hear your siren blip?

Yes pushing them along as before, Shift does nothing and I get no blips on the map

Did you by any chance rebind your sprint key (shift) to something else?

No, As standard not touch any key mappings or settings.

 

I have also just remove ELS and it made no difference.

I didn't think it would.   Have you gone to the police station and gone on duty, or pressed F4 and typed "forceduty"?

Yes on duty, Doing other jobs and stop / search and pursuits all works apart from pulling cars over. I have once again re-installed LSPDFR which has made no difference.

Is this happening with all of your police models, or just one?

 

Also, what all plugins do you have?

I have some ELS and some are standard. That crossed my mind and my FIB cars are all standard, Just tested with them and they are also not responding to shift.

Are you pressing left or right shift?  If you're pressing right shift, try left.

 

You didn't clarify in your previous post, when you press shift, does anything happen at all?

Sorry Left Shift as always, Nothing happens apart from after frantically trying sticky keys pops up in Windows :(

Temporarily remove all your plugins.  Any change?

 

If no, I can only assume you're either missing something, or missing a step in doing this.

Same with all plugins removed. I pass all requirement for rage plugin too.

 

I honestly cannot understand it,

 

I have attached 2 logs. In the 160548 log you can see at the end I had a drug callout, I couldn't mark the position of the dropped drugs so can only assume either rph or lcpdfr is ignoring any inputs,

At this point, I'm not sure, but I suspect two things:

 

1) With you being on Windows 10, lets get it out of the way and see if this is a problem -

 

2) You're missing something on your computer.    Try running this troubleshooter, please -

if it comes back with anything.

Thanks for the tips btw, I cannot see what has changed since I last used it back in September last year. I must admit its the same hardware (apart from now running a gtx1070) but a new windows install of win10 64bit about 4 weeks ago.

Check the trainers you're using.  Make sure no options such as 'ai ignore player' or anything stupid like that is enabled.  I'm really unsure why traffic stops wouldn't work.

 

Okay, lets back up.  You get behind a vehicle, and press shift.  No sound is heard? no blip on the map?

Sorry didnt realise Native Trainer was still there (comes with the update)

 

That has now been removed. If I get behind a car and press left shift nothing happens, no noise, no blips and cars behaviour does not change. If I activate lights and sirens all cars respond as they should, moving out of the way and pulling to one side. 

 

Ill see if I can do a short video

There's no need for a video, I'm just trying to see what exactly may be an issue.

 

Assuming you have mods installed, temporarily rename your mods folder to something else.  This will stop the game from utilizing it.  Now go into the game and try pulling folks over.
