LCPDFR not prompting for duty.

Hi all. New member and first post. I wouldnt normally do this but I cannot find a solution to my problem at all.

 

Basically I've installed ragehook and the LCPDFR mod. Ragehook launches my game and sure enough I have the police station icons and arrest icons on my map. The problem I have is none prompt me to start duty or whatever it's supposed to do. 

 

I navigate to each icon and go to the entrances where I'm told I should get promoted but nothing happens at all. I've seen people mention to forceduty or to load the plugin again but I've no idea how to do this. I don't know how to bring up a console window in-game.

 

So just to clarify the game loads fine and looks like the mod is there all well and good but I just don't get prompted to start.

What happens when you press F4 and type "forceduty"?

So that's what I can do. Press f4 and type that? Should I get a window with a text box or is it all done in the background?

When you press F4, your game will freeze, and you'll get the Rage console.  When you type forceduty and hit enter, you'll go on duty.

Yes I have all those requirements. Just tried changing F4 to numerous other F keys but they don't bring up the console. Nothing happens. Not sure what's going on but not to worry I'll just have to forget it for now. Thanks for the help.

You sure?  We can try and root through the problem if you'd like.  If not, you're welcome.

We could try. Just not sure what else to do. I've installed the mod and ragehook as instructions state.

 

I've made sure relevant programs are allowed in the firewall. I've tried uninstalling the mod and re adding.

 

I've removed lcm.common from plugins and re added.(that was listed as a fix) I'm honestly baffled. I get no error messages. The game launches fine via ragehook and like I mentioned earlier all the icons are there but nothing will prompt me to start.

 

For reference I'm in windows 10 and I've recently just bought GTA from steam and updated it etc.

Whilst I have a thread I just thought I'd pick brains. Modding GTA is new to me and this one is the first I've done. I see plenty of other mods online. Do these all use ragehook as well? I guess what im trying to get at is can I have multiple mods active at the same time or do they conflict. For example could I have this police mod and one of the gang hideout ones at the same time?

You can have multiple mods running at once, however, some may conflict.  For example, LSPDFR and maybe a gang life mod.  That would only be if you're on duty with LSPDFR.  If you're not on duty, nothing should conflict.  I use the Rescue V mod (firefighter, paramedic, coast guard), and it runs fine with LSPDFR installed.

 

In terms of LSPDFR plugins, you can have as many as your computer can handle.  I have over 250 callouts in my game from all the callout packs, plus some other plugins like Rage Show My Location.

Wow I'm going to have to have a look at these packs if I get this mod working. I'm a noob so I'm not really aware of what else you can do to flesh it out more.

No worries.  When I started modding, I was brand new to it as well.  Just takes time to learn. :)

Brilliant mate that windows 10 fix has sorted it. I can now go on duty but I've no idea what the hell I'm doing or how to respond to the calls lol.

You can respond to calls by pressing Y on the keyboard to accept them. :)  To ignore them...just ignore them, lol.  You can force calls via X.

Ignore me I was pressing Y on the pad which obviously ejects you from a car lmao idiot. Works a treat now. I've quit out now so I can install some callout packs. Any recommendations?

I mean, it is fun to watch a cop swan dive from his car. :P  I have a crap ton of callout plugins, but some of my favorites are:

 

Arrest Warrant Callouts

 

Agency Callouts

 

Assorted Callouts

 

PeterU Callouts

 

Law Callouts

 

There are a lot of packs to choose from, and again, as long as your computer can take it, you can have as many as you want.  My current callout plugins combined, I have over 200 callouts  (callouts themselves, not callout plugins)
