Help! Cars won't load after I go on duty!

Featured Replies

Hey All!

I am just wondering why my police cars wont load after I become a cop. The first car appears with no problem but as soon as I scroll over to see the other cars it just stays blank and I have to quit the entire game to atleast get the first car to actually play. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!!!

Jake

Just do this:

In the .ini you can set PreloadAllModels = False to PreloadAllModels = True and it will load all the models first.

BTW +1 for u

How do I access the .ini? The one I tried popped up in notepad, I deleted the false and typed in True and it wouldn't save it. I have administrative access but maybe i am accessing it wrong?

ThankS!

cant find it there

Sorry I forgot to add scripts

It should be under - C:Program Files (x86)Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto IVScripts

just like he said because you have too much resources not enough for your ram so the car wont load so when you do that the game pass the shit and just load the car thats why you may see some missing textures
