OpenIV.asi Causing Crash

Featured Replies

My game crashes only when openiv.asi is installed. When I remove just my mods folder it does not work but if I remove OpenIV.asi my game loads without mods (obviously) Ive tried:

  • Removing mods folder and launching via playgta5.exe
  • creating a fresh mods folder (copy of the update and x64 folders, along with x64e and x64g)
  • verifying game files

Everything is up-to-date. Game version 1.1103.2, Ragepluginhook 55, latest scripthook and trainerv as well as ELS. Attached is the openiv.log and ragepluginhook.log

Have you tried launching with the mods folder present but empty? FYI, you don't actually need to have a copy of the update and x64 folders along with x64e and x64g. You just need to have the RPFs you're actually modifying in the folder. If you plan things right, you can get away with just update.rpf in the mods folder.

Still won't load with a mods folder that is present but empty, unfortunately.
