ELS no longer function correctly

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

Im not sure if its because ELS has not been updated since the latest patch or not but my ELS system is not operating correctly. In short the lights reflect off buildings and surfaces correctly, head and tail lights remain strong, but when it comes to light bars and other leds the lights are pale and dull. It almost just lights up a faint color. Seeing as I havent seen to many complaints of this is there a current work around?

And yes, i do have ELS cars, and files installed correctly, everything was working fine prior the patch, I've since updated my files and tried to even reinstall ELS to no avial.

Thanks in advance any insight is appreciated

Check your PostFX.  If it's already on high or ultra, set it to low.  Save.  Then change them to ultra and save again.

I'm having issues with ELS not loading at all. I reinstalled ELS and a vehicle that uses ELS and it won't work. It is running like I don't have ELS.

I went and just played regular story mode and when I stole a  police car that car had working ELS, anyone have an idea what I did wrong?

Make sure you installed the car's VCF in the proper VCF folder.

I removed all my installed cars and switch meta back to original, then installed one car that didn't require a meta change. But I will try all of that again. Thanks.
