vehicles addon limit

does anyone have  a gameconfig for the gunrunning update when i add police cars as addon the game crashes the limit needs to be lifted with a modified gameconfig file

i tried that config on your link earlier and it doesn`t work for me i have added the vehicle meta file and carvariation on mpchristmas2 and the addon vehicle files on patchdate5ng and i have done it this way since i started adding standalone vehicles and it worked fine if i remove the police vehicle addons and i put back the original meta and carvariation files the game works fine

Please attach the vehicle meta and carvariations you're trying to use, and tell me the name of the vehicle(s) that seem to be causing issues.

 

Is it just one standalone car causing the issue, or all of them? Have you tried removing the most recent car you added?

 

Also, I strongly advise standalone car files be put into the DLC that the meta and carvariations is, so mpchristmas2 is where all the files should be in relation to your standalone car.

no they are not standalone  i have downloaded them from lspdfrs heres a list of the vehicles added to vehiclemeta and carvariations

i dont think i have done anything wrong in regards of adding them this is how i do it everytime theres an update and they worked fine until this last update please can you double check and let me know

Yes, they are standalone. Standalone/addon are the same thing.  These are cars that are not vanilla to GTA.

 

Please edit your post, remove the posted carvar and meta.  Attach the vehicles.meta and carvariations documents to your reply.  It makes it so much easier on everyone than to scroll through the entire post.

In the vehicles.meta, right under lasdcvpi12 and before chp, there is an extra gap between the two lines.  This may not be the problem, but in my experience, the meta and carvars are picky as to how the format is.  Click between them, delete one line.  I noticed it's like this with a few of the lines you added.  Go through them, and remove one gape so it looks like this:

I'll keep looking at your meta in the meantime.

I found one big source of your problem. In the carvariations, search for line "impala".  Scroll to the bottom of this line.   Somehow, this line got completely messed up.  Delete this line and readd it.  Then try loading in again.

okay i removed the impala line i will remove it from the meta file too and let me try if it works without the impala

Ha ha, you're welcome! Guess I was wrong about the spacing between the item lines.  Thought that made a difference.

 

You're free to add in the Impala lines again, just make sure the entire line is added and it should be fine. :)

You too! Feel free to bump this thread if you run into another issue.  Also, a quick tip.  While the gameconfig doesn't have a standalone car limit, the DLCs tend to have one.  You can get away with adding quite a few, but once the vehicles.rpf gets to about 1,465mb, switch to a different DLCpack.  If you switch the DLCs, you can have over 100 standalone cars.
