Not delete it, but it is advised to remove all your plugins as some, if not most, aren't going to work.

edit: a little of an offtopic question here, but whenever i go on duty i am told that there's a newer version of LSPDFR available (0.3.1) yet i am running that.

I get the same crash (well the same 0xc0000005(exception_access_violation)), so I'm sorry if this is the wrong thread to post in, I just wanted to share my success. 

 

It only happens to me when I enter a vehicle on the drivers side.  I can get into it on the pass side but as soon as i touch the drivers seat. BOOM, crash to desktop.

Crash happens on stock vehicles as well as modded ones.

I have yet to remove all my plugins, but i did change my gameconfig to the one you suggested above and that's when the problems started. I put it back to the stock one and now the problem persists.  which of course leads me to beleive that, that is not the problem.  I can honestly say that I have no idea what else I changed today to make this start happening.

 

Okay as I wrote that line, I remembered what i change that could possibly be causing my issue.

 

It was the "backup files" from this plugin including the button change 3:

So i just put my stock ones back as well as button change 3, and that seems to have solved the issue.

Just one question: Were you previously using LeFix's speedometer or fuel mod?

Okay, because folks have been having similar crashes that were a result of his mods no longer being compatible.  Your issue appears to be new, and while it may be isolated to just you, I've added this to my list of incompatible mods just in case more folks come in with the same error.  Thanks for the update.

So just to clarify, it was the "back up" files that were causing the issue. as far as I can tell, the other ones are fine.  Like I have Button Change 3 on right now, and do not have the problem anymore.
