Gaming Laptop for LSPDFR

Recommended Posts

Hello, I am new to pc gaming. I'm looking for a good gaming machine to play GTA 5 and many more at 1080p high settings. I would get a desktop, but my parents don't own internet yet, so I go over to grandparents a lot and need something easily portable. If you can help me out and give me the cheapest gaming laptop I can get to play GTA 5, and others, that would be great. My budget is pretty much under $900 or so.

You won't be getting many places unfortunately.
This is the best one I can think of: http://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/productdetails/inspiron-15-7567-laptop/fncwf514s
Should be decent enough performance, if you mess with some settings you might be able to get 60fps most of the time.

With your situation, seeing as you don't have internet. One possibility is getting a Hard Drive/Flash Drive and taking it over to a place that does have internet and downloading items there and then transferring them to your desktop.

$900 is stretching it for a decent laptop especially a good one. I'd do what I stated above, but that's just what I would do personally my self.

This is coming from some one who owns a $2,500 laptop who can't play games at max settings, likes to get hot often, and cannot change out components whats so ever. For everything else though it works fantastic.

I did not know that. I was thinking of having a 128gb flash drive or so, and use it to download stuff then transfer it. Also, if I was to get a desktop, would spending around $350 be good, then upgrade it soon after.

I'll inform you now, that unless if you get some really good deals on the used market, you won't get a passable computer for gaming at $350, pricing it up, getting a decent-good-ish one would be around $450 - $500 or more. Not to mention that you'd need to buy Windows or get Windows completely officially.
