Might be a error of research on his part... Same family of modular engines just the Triton V10 is for F-250 and above trucks. Including the Excursion. It's a one of their older engines still being used as of today surprisingly. No EcoObamaBoost bullshit.

@ivan8065 The Mercury Marauder uses the 4.6 modular V8. I think what you'd mean if you transferred the Marauder's block to the CV, you'd have the 302hp DOHC.

 

But yeah, as Underwood said, it's from the trucks. Marauder is just a super vic :D
