Problems with RPH as well as some other mods

Featured Replies

Hello all, I have a unique issue with my game. When I load GTAV with RPH, it shows the welcome message for both rage and LSPDFR. However, when I try to pull the command console, it pauses the game but nothing shows up. The commands work because when I type "forceduty" it will show me on duty. Now, for my next problem, when I hit the C key to bring up my police smart radio nothing shows up. I know it works because when I hit G/T I can hear it scroll and hitting Z will cause it to do something like tow truck, plate check, etc. I am having the same issue with computer+, when I hold down the key to open it nothing happens, the game just gets super choppy like it's trying to open the computer. I just played LSPDFR a few days ago and had no issue. When I tried to play last night it had these issues.

Here's the things

I've done to try to solve it:

1. re-downloaded RPH from their website and re-installed

2. re-downloaded scripthookv and re-installed

3. re-downloaded scripthookv.net and re-installed (which had a newer version, however, wasn't the problem)

4. changed the console command key

5. ticked the option within RPH that removes direct x hook

All of these things did absolutely nothing to solve the issue. I came here because it's not just RPH that has this issue. ELS screen overlay worked, just as a side note. I think these issues are all related, just have no clue where to go from here. Any and all help is greatly appreciated! Also, I'm on the latest/newest version of the game and all mods.

Hmm.. strange.

Just to make sure,

when you go to the smart radio and police computer download pages, you have all the requirements installed that they require?

If so, in that case, I would re-install my game.. big overlay problem here.

I believe I have all of the requirements. I didn't have any issues with it when I played a few days ago, and I haven't changed anything since then.

Okay, have you tried running the game first then running ragehook?

Also, have you tried running rage as Admin?

You run normal story, like the original GTA V game and then you tab out and run ragehook.

Any chance you have any dll's in your directory that are blocked?

It should be in the properties when you right click on the .dll (If its blocked, it should say in the bottom and there should be a button saying "Unblock"

I think.

It's most likely unblocked but it's always good to make sure, we are troubleshooting here..

Update, I looked at the dll's and I didn't see any evidence that they're blocked. I tried running RPH after I loaded the game and it crashes GTAV every time.

Hmm, hopefully someone else can join in and figure it out, I'm out of ideas.
