Anyone have a solution for this?

The ELS lighting is just... off? I have stage 3 on, I've tried activating them manually, but it's just not toggling the extras. The only extra that's working is extra_1 which is the one that hides the rotator emissives. Takedown works, side scenelights don't. I can toggle the components in a trainer, it's just ELS that doesn't seem to toggle them. It just randomly stopped working. I didn't touch a thing on ELS, I just edited the model of the car, exported, and tested. Lights just suddenly stopped working. All the proper settings are checked in the SHERIFF.xml file. All was working just fine until randomly it just stopped.

Well first, that is a beautiful vehicle. I've had that same issue before.. I restarted my PC and it seemed to fix it.. Not sure what exactly causes it.

Did you edit the model before it was working then export it? I had this problem once and it was the stupidest little thing. I think I left a space I couldn't see in the hierarchy that caused it to not work for the extras.

Yes. What do you mean by a space?

In my case I totally overlooked in the Hierarchy that instead of extra_3 I had extra_3  and a space behind the 3 causing it to not work right.

Unfortunately, it's a fairly common problem that seems to affect quite a few users. It's been documented in a thread (with some posted solutions) by @TWISTEDSCOPES here:

 

I've tried most of them, and the only solution that seems to work for me (and apparently others as well) is restarting your PC. Bizarre, I know, and not the most efficient solution, but it does work. Hopefully someone else knows a more permanent or quicker fix by now and can chime in, because I know I'm personally too lazy to restart my PC when ELS fails.

I boot up my PC every day since I have an SSD, boot times are nothing. Thanks for the help, just another stupid bug in ELS.
