99% of the Time- Game Spawns Slicktop!, an NOO Extras!

is there a file we can edit besides in vehicles.meta for dam game always spawning slicktops when car comes with ability to be either way, say sheriff, or police.

I don't mind seeing a slicktop now an then, but it shouldn't be such a dam majority of the time. In my experience they are a small minority, not a Major Majority!.

 I mucked around in vehicles.meta for a day with requiredExtras an extraIncludes only to find out you can let game choose or have mandatory Extras that always spawn, then theres no variation. If left to game, too many will be slicktops, an God forbid if you EVEEER see a cop car with a pushbar or spotlight.   :verymad:fkin game.:verymad:

Try FLAG_EXTRAS_REQUIRE in the vehicles.meta flags line of the car you want with extras.

I know, I did, an EXTRAS_ALL that one- Extras_require corresponds to the below it line- requiredExtras an what you put there will ALWAYS spawn with it, then theres no variation in cars spawning, its every EXTRA_X that you put after <requiredExtras>.

FLAG_EXTRAS_REQUIRE only makes the car always spawn with one extra, which was on the POLICE and SHERIFF slots in the stock game which allowed them to spawn with the two different lightbar types (LED and rotators) and never as slicktops

no, it tells the game to read the requiredExtars line below what to MANDATORY SPAWN on every car. Its REQUIREDextras

it looks like this, below flag line with FLAG_EXTRAS_REQUIRE

nope- you don't get what Im saying. I spent a entire day with this-

 standard is nothing in requiredExtras. that's right. I knoooooow that. I was trying to get some better random spawns with extras without Making It mandatory on every car. Your quoting an going by the stock police cars which have no option built in for slicktops..so..not relevant to this. Im talkin about added/mod cars with the option which is nuilt into model for lightbars an extras.

 The best I was able to do was for a car that has both lightbar an slicktop option was to put both flags EXTRAS_REQUIRE, and EXTRAS_ALL in flag line, then in the corresponding line below for MANDATORY extras, which is extrasIncludes, put lightbar, pushbar, an spots as <extrasIncludes>EXTRA_1 EXTRA_2 EXTRA_3, then they always spawned with those, NO slicktops.

  And after <requiredExtras> leave that blank and you would get some random other Extras, as that corresponds to the FLAG line above FLAG_EXTRAS_ALL, get it?

FLAG_EXTRAS_REQUIRE = <extraIncludes>

The stock police car (POLICE1) had extras, that is why it could spawn with both an LED bar or a rotator, and if you disabled both extras while in game you would have a slicktop.

And this is the Extra Includes line of the stock police car:

Empty, but it still spawned with both extras individually because each lightbar was an extra, which could be disabled in game for a slicktop.

uh huh. know that Robert, nvm, thanks. police1 is also police4 dude- HAS the ability built in to spawn with/without lightbar/extras.

 take a look at say...buffalo in vehicles.meta to help you better understand the requiredExtras, extrasInclude lines below the FLAG lines EXTRAS_ALL an EXTRAS_REQUIRE.

Im still asking if theres any other way to modify the amount of Extras game will choose RANDOMLY, which is..like..0
