How should I upload my vehicles.meta with my car model?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I just finished creating my own vehicle for gta 5 and I've edited my vehicles.meta. Now I want to release my mod, but I don't know how to upload a correct vehicles.meta wich changes only one police slot. I really hope you can help me with this problem!

Copy the meta the only part that you change add it to another notepad and changes it name. Remeber to tell user where and how to install. Download some files and look into it

When I open vehicles.meta's included in other mods, I see a complete file with all models, not only one slot. But if you install it with OpenIV, it still only changes the slot of one vehicle right? I'm sorry for misunderstanding, i'm new to this.

No you have to copy the line. Like if you are changing police2 then search for it and copy only that line. Tell user to copy that line a replace with the line that is already in their meta.

Thanks! Many creators just upload a vehicles.meta file and tell you to replace it, but you're actually supposed to copy the right part and edit your own vehicles.meta?
