Steam doesn't think GTA 5 is there but it is

Featured Replies

Steam doesn't think GTA 5 exists on my computer but it does steam wants me to reinstall GTA 5 but that would take 3 days and 12 hours is there any way to fix this without reinstalling GTA?

Let me get this right, steam tells you that GTA 5 is not installed, but you say it actually is!?

I'm not an expert, but maybe some files are missing. Maybe you deleted a file through an oversight. Or some files are in the wrong folder. But as I said before, I'm not an expert in this stuff. If it's possible, maybe you could post a screenshot of your GTA 5 folder.

(I hope my english is not too bad.)
