im installing sheriff and police models but cant find the files to replace help?

Just go to mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday14ng/dlc.rpf/x64/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf/

Simply drag all of the vehicle models into that.

If you don't have the "mods" folder, create it. The mods folder is important, because without it you will corrupt the game.

already tried that

In OpenIV, go to Tools, then click on ASI Manager. Install all of the items there.

So the problem you're having is that you can't find the directory in which you need to replace the vehicle models?

You don't need to replace the actual files. Just drop the models (.ytd, .yft) into mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday14ng/dlc.rpf/x64/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf/

What model are you replacing?

Tell me the name of the .ytd and .yft files.

sheriff_hi.yft  sheriff.ytd sheriff.yft

Make sure to copy

patchday14ng from Grand Theft Auto V/update/x64/dlcpacks

to

Are you sure you are in edit mode?

Are you sure you don't have any superior modpacks installed like rde or Captain14's sheriff pack?

yes i have no luck i just deleted something and reinstalled lemme see if it worked
