Hey guys,

 

I have a problem with RAGE plugin hook. It says that my current game version is not supported and i need to get the latest version. At first I thought that's not possible because I updated GTA 5 (steam) yesterday. Then I looked at the gta5.exe and it tells me that I'm using 1.0.944. So what I don't understand is, I updated GTA 5 (actually steam did it for me) but it still shows me that I'm using the old version.

 

RAGE plugin hook tells me:

 

The current game version is not supported.

Installed game version: 944
Latest game version: 1032
Supported game versions: 1032

The installed game version (944) is not supported. This build of RAGE Plugin Hook is made for version 1032.

 

So my question is, how can I get the latest version (1.0.1032.) of GTA 5 ?

 

 

PS: I'm new so I hope this is the right place to ask this question.

Go to Grand Theft Auto in your Steam library - Right click and go to properties - go to local files - click verify integrity of game files. 

 

From there it'll scan your folder and update your game to the latest version. 

After steam checked the files steam told me that there are 8 incorrect files and a after I wanted to start the game steam told me:

 

An error occurred while updating Grand Theft Auto V (unknown error)

Restart Steam and then your computer. If that does not work re-install.

After I restarted my computer I've started GTA 5 and, lo and behold, GTA 5 works again. But, as I wanted to open the console via F4, the game just freezed (not acually freezed, but like I pushed a "pause" key). And when I press F4 again the game works fine again. In the RAGE plugin hook settings is F4 the key to open the console.

Any ideas why that happens ?

Yeah that's automatic. Basic feature of RPH.

Don't apologise man :) we are here to help you. Sorry if I came across as rude. No hard feelings :)

 

But really, most of the time, even if the issue really seems like it won't fix just by restarting, restart. Trust me, often it will get rid of random lags and bugs etc.
