My Car Installations

Featured Replies

Hey there everyone. So I have been playing for quite awhile and I recently wanted to renew my games cars, getting rid of all the ones I replaced. So I downloaded the ELS Los Santos Police Vanilla pack. After installing the pack, by the drag and drop into my mods>update>x64>dlcpacks>patchday14>dlc.rpf>x64>levels>gtav>vehicles.rpf, and then putting the VCF files where they belong, I decided to just check out the cars and see what they were like. Now I went back into openIV, and I replaced all of the models in my Patchday14 and my ELS vcf files with what I wanted the new cars to be, but for some reason when I go in game and I try to spawn in any of the police cars I still get the default vanilla ELS models, even though I replaced all of the files that were placed in patchday14. I'm really confused on what is happening as the files for the vanilla ELS are no longer in my game files but still appear in my game. This issue started yesterday so I know they wont reappear if I shut down my laptop, restart OpenIV, etc... I really dont know what I did wrong considering the drag and drop replace method in Patchday14 is all Ive ever used and I have never had any problems with it until now...

have you turn on edit mode when drag the new car in game, and search for police or police2 and try to see if there is a vanilla els car anywhere maybe is in 64e
