when i start gta 4 my task bay turns grey like it usally does the social club thing comes up i click play it goes away about 10 seconds after my taskbar turns back to blue and the game does not start i played it yesterday couple crashes but other than that it was fine i have uninstalled almost evrey mod (that i know about) and it still wont start

you may need to reinstall, what have you edited and what kind of other mods did you have installed?

As Ross said, you might have to reinstall, what version of gta 4 are you using and do you hve lcpdfr installed?

i uninstalled ALL of the mods version 1.0.7.0 and i unistalled lcpdfr 0.95 rc2

you have to run the diagnostics tool as administrator

did you tick both asi loaders (dsound.dll and xlive.dll) because if you did you need to delete one also did your game work before when you had LCPD:FR installed

no because if you save game whilst on duty it corrupts the game save and you need to delete it and start the game again
