Installing Car Mods HELP

Featured Replies

So whenever I download car packs the developer always says to put the files in a certain folder (the one im working on now says to put the files in patchday14). But my patchday14 file does not have the necessary police, police2, fbi, etc. files to replace. My police files are spread between patchday like 2-5.

Do i still put the vehicles into that patchday even though the files are not there to replace?

@M3Creepsta   This is so confusing in the way the developer worder this. I appreciate your help a lot man!

He says to place the files here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday14ng\dlc.rpf\

But that line takes me to a folder that still has an x64 folder within it. So im assuming I should still follow it further than he said to place it....and take it all the way to the vehicles.prf ?

Then when replacing the VCF files....do i do that through the normal file system...or thru OPEN IV?

Yes, just continue with x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf and drop the vehicles into there.

And the VCF will be through your normal file system, C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\ELS\pack_default

Hope this helps.
