I had a thought and wanted to present it to an ELS dev or basically anyone that could answer whether it's possible or not. I know little about coding, but would it be possible to modify ELS (or create another mod to work in conjunction with it) so that you could activate only the front lighting or only the rear lighting patterns of a light bar? This is seen commonly IRL, but I don't know what the limitations of doing it with this are. Thanks in advance!

This is definitely doable with ELS, but may need to be coded in. Although, there may already be a way to do it through a vehicles ELS VCF files. I'd suggest you dig through some ELS VCF files and see if you can't come up with something.

It's always been possible, just nobody has made an arrow board yet... well, at least not an American one and not on this website... as for the amber traffic advisory, switch your els patterns, you can get ones that sweep right to left and left to right.
