Hello everyone....new member here and fairly new to the LSPDFR family - LUV IT!!

 

I just downloaded some new vehicles. I can see that vehicles and they look great, but the siren and lights do not work.

 

I've been using OPEN-IV for the mod files.

 

Any help would be appreciated and please remember I am knew with handling mods and Open-IV

Are you using ELS?

Thanks for the replay back.....

 

I would have to say no....I downloaded the LSPD Vehicle pack, followed the install instructions per the read me file.

 

I can see and drive the vehicles with no problems, I DO have sirens, but no flashing lights.

 

The only lights I DO see are the tail lights flashing, but nothing else.

 

From what you just said, I am assuming I need ELS?

I am not 100% certain which vehicle pack that is, I would start by either posting that link for me. Or downloading els. 

could you post the car pack you are using so we can determie if its ELS or just a bad pack?

Yes, I sure will. I am out of town and will be able to do it tomorrow night or Friday night.

theres ALOT of car packs.....being that vauge by saying "I down loaded it from here" really doesnt help at all. we need to know what car park it was to help

Just to add to the thread, I'm having the same problem with these downloads

 

And

The vehicles show up fine in the game, but the sirens don't show up when I switch them on.

I put the XML files in the ELS folder but they still don't seem to work.

I'm not sure if I have the folder in the right place

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V

That's where I put the folder, is that correct?

Ausuna.....the name of the car pack is in my post dated Posted Monday at 07:39 PM .  I will double check the name to be 100% sure.

 

I downloaded this pack from LSPDFR.com and followed the instructions to the letter using OPENIV.

 

I am not sure if I am missing another app or mod that I am suppose to already have to make the lights work or is that generally included in the vehicle mods already?  

 

I am at work right now but will verify the pack name when I get home tonight and will provide you and lawenforcementjoker the name. I downloaded another one that same day and ran into the same issue, I will give that name as well.
