When does it crash..at what point in loading

It crashes at the exact moment when the rockstar statement is about to come up, you know with the 3 spinning circles at the bottom, and remember it does go in when I have the direct x hook checkbox in rage menu ticked.  it states the file exists, could it be some log file somewhere else perhaps for direct x ?  stay with me!! whats next ?

what did you do before the games started crashing

Simply let the update install, then installed Lspdfr(with its original Ragehook) then copied Rage 51 over it and that was it.

and you didnt update the mods folder with the latest patch?

cuz if you have openiv in the gta folder that pretty much telling RPH to pull form the mods folder

Im sorry, I forgot, yes I did update the mods folder, correct,  however I am completely down to a simple GTA V install, Lspdfr install, and new rage install as if I just started off new so there are no mods at all, no changes as if I just want to use lspdfr, no cars ,  no scripts  nothing

so you are running as admin all the time then? when you updated rage....did you take all the files (not including the folders) that came with rage and out them in your GTAV directory?

also a copy of the rage hook log wouldnt hurt

I dragged and dropped all files including folders over the ones that come with Lspdfr

.......wait wait wait..the ones with Lspdfr....thats an old version.....sounds like something isnt installed right to me
