Extreme FPS Drop after going on duty.

Featured Replies

Really need help with this, ruins my experience playing LSPDFR.

Before i say anything, not blaming anything with LSPDFR.

So when i go onto duty and the game loads my callouts + Arrest manager and TP and C+ Etc my FPS Drops from 70 to around 18-22. Obviously this is a horrible Frame rate and is pretty much unplayable.

Honestly i will take any help i can get, i have even resorted to turning all my graphic settings down but hasn't really done much.

ANY HELP APPRICIATED THANKS!

PS : Mods Installed Are as follows :

LSPDFR

LSPDFR +

Script hook ( if that counts )

Spike Strips

Arrest manager

Better EMS

Computer Plus

Police Smart Radio

Search Warrent

Callout manager

Code 3 Callouts

LP Callouts

Traffic Policier.

It is impossible for me to know exactly what is causing the FPS drop, there are most likely several things.

When you do go on duty you will experience a drop because you are loading plugins which were not running before (Of course 70 FPS then)

It is normal to experience a drop, but form 70 to 18-22 seems a bit high.

Not sure what would cause it

If you have a backup of LSPDFR, you can try to force duty and see how the FPS reacts with a different directory

Thanks for the reply, not sure what you mean by backup of LSPDFR, but i have forcedduty' and it does the same. :/

I meant if you copied your previous LSPD directory, you can try to play on that one for now and see if the FPS drop that low too.

If I am playing with lag, I sometimes revert to another slightly different game with LSPDFR in it and sometimes my other directory has no lag.

Im sorry if this is obvious, haha but i'm not sure what that means. Copy all of the LSPDFR files, and then what? Sorry.

I don't know if you do this, but I do.

I make a copy of GTA V (blank and not modded) (Everyone should do this of course)

I also make a copy of LSPDFR with fewer modifications

This allows me to play LSPDFR if my current game has too many modifications, making it laggy or lowers  FPS.

The image is a GTA V backup

I do the same for my LSPDFR game and modsCapture.thumb.PNG.8b3cc17484f567587866e61664000149.PNG

Ah right ok, ill give this a go, thanks again

I would like to show you exactly what is causing the FPS drop but it is just impossible for me to tell.

If you don't have any visual files in then you shouldn't be experiencing the drastic drop with only a few plugins.

All I can suggest is to just re-install your mods and hope for the best.

What are your computer specs like?

You can always lower your graphic settings to raise FPS in game.
