Hi, this is my first post so I'd like to apologise in advance if it's in the wrong section! But recently I've wanted to play as an unmarked unit; however I don't like any of the vehicle mods that are out there // and I'd far rather prefer some of GTA's base vehicles. I'm looking to add the lights and sirens to a base vehicle. I've gotten close; for example I'm currently looking to patrol in the Schafter4, in the carvariations.meta I've set the <sirenSettings> to 1. But this just makes the lights flash; where is the actual siren itself? How do I add the siren sound? Thanks in advance!

I think the siren is tied to the engine sound through the audiohash line in the vehicles.meta or carvariation.meta file. But maybe I'm wrong, don't quote me on that it's been a while I stopped modding my game.

So merely I should take the engine sound from the police car and add it to the Schafter or use Menyoo to change the car's engine sound? 

I found out how to do it, it was indeed previously mentioned.

 

1. What you have to do is find the specific vehicle using its model name for example schafter4 in carvariations.meta 
2. In vehicles.meta, find sirenSettings and change it to 1 or 2 for example.
3. Then find the schafter4 in a vehicles.meta, and set its audioNameHash to police for example, so it looks like <audioNameHas>police</audioNameHash>
