911 Operator: Play as a dispatcher !

Featured Replies

Hey,

I would like to get your opinion about 911 Operator. For those who do not know this game, it puts you in the shoes of a dispatcher.

I like the concept, and everything but my biggest disappointment is on the FD side, which is very unrealistic: you don't have an engine, rescue, ladder, Battalion chief, nor multiple house with different units, the fire runs don't require that much work. I'd expect some call to require a certain type of vehicle that carry tools other units don't, (so basically real life), so yeah you get my point, the FD side could use an update and be improved, other than that, I like it.

Here are 2 videos so you guys, can get an idea of what it is:

I've been playing this game some. I like it and it's a fun way to pass time (I am a full time dispatcher in real life). I wish it was as easy as just clicking to enroute units to certain calls haha.

It's a pretty good game considering the price (£10.99/$14.99), but it gets incredibly stale fast. Repetitive calls, scenarios lacking variety/detail, etc.

Hopefully they open up the game to modding at some point.
