An Alternative to police radio?

Hello! I just officially started modding this game today.. All went well & was pretty straight forward. I initially only had errors with Albo's mods & had to track down new versions. Everything was looking peachy (or so I thought) until I tried to pull out the fincone's police radio & run someones plates. I then noticed that the only alternative would be Albo's SmartRadio BETA which I can only get through a loyalty program & being my first day I think it's unlikely Albo will feel I am very loyal after 24hr's of modding GTA.

 

I have simple plate checker installed to fix this but it seems to not be playing nice with the new GTA update. At this point it looks like I will have to be running plates the old fashioned way.

 

ALSO, does anyone have a link to somewhere that has a compiled list of the most popular mods key bindings? Thanks

Try DCP's radio i made the J, K, L and P buttons the buttons for the radio

Thanks asuna, I'll give that a shot! are those the default buttons for DCP or did you edit them in? Whats really driving me nuts are the button conflicts I keep running into. I wish i could find a mod to completely un-map all the keyboard functions for controlling gta (I can contorl everything just fine with my controller) and only have the keyboard trigger mods or typing names/plates into computer+. I cant count how many times i have tried to either trigger a mod or change my sirens and accidentally shot my weapon or jumped out of my car :(

edited them the only key im still having issues with is X on a contoller and sadley becasue alot of mods are by diff people there are conflicts

I'm having some difficulty with Vocal Dispatch listening to me.. No matter they keys I set I cannot get it to listen. However Scene manager works for coroner & tow truck, so I'll be fine using that until SmartRadio gets released. However, I'd like to ask what plate checker you are using (the ALPR seems really OP unless I turn all the values way down) & what you are using for searching Peds & Vehicles. Any plate checkers or search mods I add to my directory don't seem to work at all!

Dispatch? You mean calls? I've  only had a single button issue and some times it doesn't work unless I'm staring at the car and am 2 inches from it....my in foot checks for names is from albos British police script watch my issue...im tied to run the plate and call a tow like 3 times

it looks like you somehow got Police radio to work, I can't even get that little radio to pop up at all. I'm having to put license plates into my computer the old fashioned way & using Ctrl+H to open traffic policer(Or it could be scene manager) to call my tow trucks. I left a comment on Jeff Favignano's most recent video about Albo's SmartRadio and if he has any idea when it will be released. Crossing my fingers that he replies & has any info.

 

Which mod for searching vehicles & peds has been working for you?? I have search warrant and police search both installed and neither are working, maybe i'll try to put them in again and see if I missed anything.

I haven't tried any of those yet..i just have...lets see if I can remember what I have being at work and away from the computers......albos British policer, traffic policer, lspdfr+, arrest manager, seatbelt chime with my seatbely chime heard in the vid from my 01 tahoe....EUP,police radio, dashcamv, els, panic button...im sure I have more but I can't remember all of them while at work
