The game installation is corrupt. Please re-install the game.

Details: Could not locate GTAVLauncher.exe in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\LSPDFR%20031%20Manual%20Install(1)"

 

What have I done wrong?   I couldn't find the Albos troubleshooter in mods. (I'll keep looking.)

Since I don't see any way to update my previous post, I'll use this method.

I've downloaded and run the troubleshooter and it found 5 errors and DID NOT fix them.

you put the ragepluginhook in your LSPDFR folder. move them into your MAIN GTA directory. That should solve it.

to me it looks like the GTA path in Rage is set to the LCPDFR folder....also...if its the rage that came with LCPDFR...you may have to update it.... can you see what version rage is? open rage and hit the gear should say what version you have in the lower left too.

OK, thanks folks!  Rage started working after I moved it to GAT5 folder, to a point.  My Rage version is v0.36.877.6833 and my GTA is v1.0.944.2 and Rage says it is NOT supported, so I'm still looking for more help/advice.

You must always download the latest Rage Plugin Hook from RagePluginHook.net and have the files in that download replace the RPH files that are included in the LSPDFR download, as @HappyJoker has mentioned.

I believe that I have the latest version of the rage plugin and it continues to say that it doesn't work with this version.  Are we talking about the latest version of GTA5, the latest version of Rage Hook plugin or the latest version of something else?  I have posted my versions of each in a previous post and I have been trying for quite some time to download and install various versions, hoping to get something to work.

Do I need to login to the Discord server, or is that for online play?

Your GTA version and RPH version must be compatible with each other.

 

If you are on GTA v1.0.944.2 as you say, you will need RPH 0.50.1044.10171. RPH 0.36 is very old and definitely is not compatible with GTA v1.0.944.2.
