Hey yall! So i installed everything properly to my knowledge, i also added Radiance V, but when i go into the game the HUD for ELS works and all the sirens and clicking sounds work properly, but there is no lights.... i tried switching back to the default visual settings thing and a different lights visuals mod but still no lights. Anyone had this problem? How'd you solve it?? Me love you long time if you help me ;) <3

Hey dude make sure you are using a ELS enabled vehicle. Can you tell me if you are using a vanilla police car or a modded car?

yea im using ELS cars and i put the lil .xml files into the Pack_default files

Try to use a different car, created by a different user. The car may not work right or it was not installed correctly. ELS only works on ELS vehicles as you already know so make sure its ELS when downloading it. Then try and tell me what happens.

Tried with a pack by one guy and then 2 others each by separate people, still not workin :(

I'm not sure what's wrong. Perhaps you can try to change the lights settings. While in GTA 5 open the ELS display with Ctrl+P (You may open your pause screen, just exit out of it) then try to change the cars light setting using Alt+1 through Alt+5. Or try to change the PRML light with U or the SECL lights with I. Hopefully that works?

In OpenIV, go to ASI Manager and uninstall ASI Loader and OpenIV.ASI and then click install again to reinstall them. Next, restart your PC, and try loading into the game again and see if that works.

Guys, come on.

If the car works and the ELS hud works, it's not the damn mods folder / ELS. 
It obviously doesn't toggle the HUD on NON-ELS cars.

 

Make sure you have PostFX Settings on Ultra; and that you don't have an old carvariatiosn / vehicles.meta installed from NON-ELS vehicles.

The HUD does work, as does ELS.  Just the lights don't.  With all the stalking you do of my posts, I'm surprised you haven't caught onto this issue.  Try harder. ;)

Now now, I'm no such thing.  :P  Just someone who enjoys helping others to play their game.

 

That is more personal preference, though honestly, with ELS, there is no point in using Siren Mastery.  All vehicles, ELS specific or not, work with ELS (you have to configure the VCF XML appropriately).

We have. Since ELS only activates on ELS vehicles, therefor it is loaded & working, so the .xml is being recognized, too, it can only be a lights / setting issue or 

a faulty model.

There are various ways to fix it. Reinstalling OpenIV.asi is only a temporary solution.

Sorry i couldn't help but I tryed :/ You should keep ELS and I would install a siren that modifys your sound settings without a plugin(Gta sirens are boring ). I have the whelen gamma siren. I can send a link if you want...

Yes, ELS has some groundbreaking bugs and I am glad they managed to fix most of them since 1.0
But the whole .asi thing is not ELS related, it's the entire mod-folder based shematic. 

 

You can just go on my Steam profile again and insult me, like you used to.
