GTA 5 crashes on GTA 5 after modifying Handling.meta

Featured Replies

I just installed a new car to replace the default stanier in GTA 5 but when I tried to replace the lines of the stanier for the one that I downloaded and editing the handling.meta crashed the game

This is the car that I have installed64f464f9b80f45c5327b687e810aac59.jpg

Replace the file with backups. If you didn't make any, copy the one in the regular game files (right click on the meta itself and then copy), delete the one in your mods folder, and paste it there

I don't understand the point of signatures on this site. What the fuck is the point?

To add, you don't need to touch the handling meta.  Some vehicles come with them, but it's unneeded in most cases unless you're picky about having exact handling lines.  Generally, just editing the <handlingid> in the vehicles.meta works perfectly.
