Hello, I am trying to add all the mods SteveTheGamer55 uses. I keep getting multiple errors, and I think I know why, but I don't know how to fix it.

When I start adding the mods to the GTA V folder, it asks if I want to overwrite, and I say yes because I don't know how to merge them.

For those of you who don't know who he is, here is the link to his YouTube (click on a video for the list of mods).

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm going to need a lot more information from you.

1) Did you install all of these mods at once?

2) If no to the above, what was the most recent mod you added?

3) Define "errors".  What are you getting?

That is your problem right there.  When installing mods, do it one or two at a time, then go in game and check.  Due to you installing all of these at once, it's going to be pretty hard to figure out what the problem actually is.

For starters, what are the errors you're getting?

I've done and deleted GTA V game files that was modded since it wouldn't work. I figured all of these would work together since he has them listed on his YouTube page.

A lot of them do work together, some may conflict, but the issue is that you should never install a large quantity of mods at once.  Since you have deleted the files, go in game and make sure it's working as it should. Then go and redownload the mods two by two.  Long process, but worth it.

Thanks for the reply. It's so much work that I doubt I will do it. At least I know what to do now. Thanks for the help!

You're welcome.  If you want my advice, go through with it, but do it slowly.  Install two mods, go in and play and enjoy the game.  The next day, install more.

That's actually a great ideal. I may just do this. I really love watching the game, but the mods is another story.

May I ask what mods you use?

Back in the GTA 4 days, I played on console, but watched Youtubers play LCPDFR.  I always wanted to play it.  When I switched to PC, GTA modding was my first thing I ran to.  Modding can be a daunting task, but I love it, and love learning more from it.  Every day I'm adding new standalone cars to my game.  (In fact, I spend more time moding my game more than I do playing it at this point.)

My game is heavily modded.  I have, I believe, over 20 callout packs, a huge variety of other mods such as Herocop, ALPR, etc, and have a crap ton of standalone cars.

Wow! Modding is one of the worse things. I really wish LCPDFR has a program that would install the mods for you and modify/fix/inform you if the mods will conflict each other.

Anyway, thanks for the information. I am going to do just that. :)

You're welcome, and good luck! If you run into issues, please don't hesitate to post again and ask.
