GTAV crashes when I go on duty

Hello everyone,

So recently, my GTA 5 crashes when I forceduty on LSPDFR. I haven't installed any new mods recently, although I have edited some vehicles.meta files and installed a new sheriff car pack (which I got in game with and worked fine) but I can't quite tell what the issue is. I'll include all my vehicles.meta files. I install my vehicles to the add-on Captain14 places, and I edit my metas in both the Captain14 DLC packs and update.rpf. Also included is the RPH log.

PC specs:

Processor: Intel Core i7 6850K (3.8GHz OC)

GPU: GTX 1080 Founders Edition (8GB GDDR5X)

RAM: 16GB DDR4-2133

Any help provided is greatly appreciated.

Signed,

Providence Law

From your log, it looks like Police Search is crashing your game. Try uninstalling that and see if your game works properly. Also, if you have installed any extra PoliceSearch items, they could also be crashing the game. If that is the case, revert back to the original PoliceSearch.dll/.ini. Get back to me if it doesn't! :)

It's very difficult (on my experience at least) that RPH or RPH's plugins make the whole game crash. Most of the times (always...) is due to conflicting mods of .rpf files.

For a fast check, remove OpenIV.asi from your GTA main folder (it's the file that loads the modded .rpf inside the "Mods" folder") to load the game without .rpf modifications.

I had Assorted Callouts crash my game because of a single corrupted audio file, it's actually not that uncommon.

Weird! Do you mean a "Police Scanner" audio file?

Yeah the audio files that I put into that folder crashed my game because of one single audio file. It was extremely frustrating trying to figure out what was crashing it.

I can imagine... I've learned about corrupted files/downloads the hard way: GPU drivers. It was driving me crazy. (or like the last time I literally re-built half PC to discover that monitor's Display Port input was bugging... hours of frustration - is the gpu dead? is the PCIE dead? wtf? - when it was simply needed an hard reset of the monitor...)

Well, I can't find any reason why but Arrest Manager continuously crashes my game. When I take it out, everything works fine. Hopefully someone can help me.

Is it just a random crash or do you do something specific before it crashes?

My original post has the RPH log attached. And, I go on duty and then it crashes.

If it is just Arrest Manager crashing your game, don't use it. I'm assuming you've reinstalled it multiple times?

Yeah, but it's kind of essential. And that means I can't use LSPDFR+ either, even though all of those work perfectly.

So you have reinstalled it multiple times?
