Hey guys, I've got a problem with SparkIV. When-ever I start it up, click browse, everything is fine, then I scroll down to anything. For example, I got to change a skin on a car, then when I try clicking edit, this error pops up

Error:Could not load file or assembly '0 bytes loaded from System, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=nuetral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format.

Then I click 'Ok'

Then it says

Unhanled exception has occured in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attemp to contunie. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately

The type of initializer for 'SparkIV.Viewer.Viewers' threw an exception

Then I click continue and nothing happens

try someone else's version of spark

Aditionally, you can also try to use OpenIV, as it is an ongoing and developing project, and you can submit bug reports to the developers when necessary. SparkIV is no longer supported by the developers and thus very hard, if not impossible, to seek support for.

@Asuna I tried other versions of SparkIV and I'm still getting the same error as arty9012. I also uninstall my Net.Framework 4.0 and installed it back in and I still get the same error. I'm trying to delete the Net.Framework folders but it won't let me because I have to get Trusted Installer permission, is there a way around that?. I really need your help Asuna because this is ridiculous, it was working fine for months on end and then all of a sudden unhandled exception has occurred in your application. I mostly used OpenIV for textures and adding car mods. I used SparkIV for importing Sound mods, weapon mods, and some textures as well too.

Are the sparkiv files in the GTAIV folder? are you running the sparkiv as admin?

@Asuna Yes the files are in the GTAIV folder and I'm running sparkiv as admin.

maybe it's a bad texture or a bad car for that texture, have you tried it on another car? Whats the version of Spark IV that you are using?

It could be a bad texture on a car, I made some custom police skins but I replaced them with some better police skins. I'm using SparkIV 0.6.7.

Try using Spark 0.6.9

Tried Spark 0.6.9 same result, tried some others and kept getting that same error. I gonna try it on a clean Vehicle.img and see what happens.

No, did not leave it open. I need to delete those Net.Framework folders but it just won't let me.

did you reinstall .net 4? what format is the image?

Yeah I reinstall Net.4, the image is a blue ribbon if the talking about the Net.Framework 4.0 image. Thanks for helping me Asuna, you're the best.

Im asking what it's saved as... .PSD, .JPG, .PNG etc etc

It's saved as a png file.

odd..it should work.......
