How to get OPEN IV to work?

Featured Replies

I downloaded Open IV to get some special effects in game, but when setting it up, it asks me for the file folder that contains GTA 5.exe but when I do (pathway C: - Programs - Rockstar Games - Grand Theft Auto V) insert that folder, it says it doesn't contain the file.

I didn't get GTA through Steam, I bought the CD pack from Walmart to install on my PC.

Below are two screenshots of what I am encountering:

and then, the file folder: (Clearly this is the location and it indeed has GTA5.exe in it ((see Highlighted)) )

So I am stuck at this point, and was wondering if anyone knew a fix or any suggestions on how to work around this? Also if anyone else has had this issue before, I'd love to hear on how you fixed it!! Thanks in advance!

You've got "Grand Theft Auto V" in the openIV path box twice

According to your game path, that should be your issue. Open IV is literally looking for the exe in Grand Theft Auto V/Grand Theft Auto V

Remove the second /Grand Theft auto V and it should work
