I got HeroCop mod in an it has partner an K9.

The partners pretty good, but I cant make sense of the written instructions for the K9. I can get the K9 to come with me by holding down G, an get in the car, but on a call he don't get out and I cant figure it out. does anyone understand the settings keys for controlling the dog?

I pointed gun at person (R click) an typed R (K9attack) an it froze my cop character and I couldn't move or do anything, and R click an hold its supposed to be K9 kill. do I have to get dog out of car first? how to do that?

ForceCleanUpKey = F8 didn't help/do anything, I had to reload save game.

assuming you've not changed any of the default keys in the .ini, tapping G should make him follow you, tap R to catch a suspect and not kill him(doesn't work too well, very short range), and hold R to kill the target (same as the aforementioned).

nooo, its hold G to get him to follow it will ask for confirmations and hold G again to get dog in right rear which u have to pre-open with E.

But how does dog come out of car?

holding G is to make them your partner initially, but G is still a partner action key on tap (and hold to drag bodies), check the .ini.

for the dog G is held to get as partner, G is held to get dog out of car and back in car.

R tap is used in combination with  aiming at perp for dog to takedown that person, hold down for dog to kill them.

 

Its not a tap, its not held for very long...its kind a inbetween, an good solid push down for a sec, I got it figured out now thanks.

 Great mod, highly recommend, mr peanuts took down a couple mfers it was funny, but got run over at like 200mph by a cop car zooming thru the scene to somewhere- RIP mr peanuts-
