Hey there,

 

I have some trouble with ELS.

The problem is, that there are no lights flashin except the wig wag lights.

 

I have installed ELS 1.05 along with an ELS-enabled car.

After I bring up the ELS information panel and press J to toggle the lights an so on, nothing happens...

On Stage 3 the wig wag lights are flashing but the light status display board does not show that it should flash some emergency lights.

 

I have following mods installed:

LSPDFR

RDE

Make visuals great again

CrazyCallouts

Traffic Policer

Arrest Manager

LSPDFR+

same thing for me it was working perfectly untill yesterday

Did you copy the XML file included with your download into ELS/pack_default?

Yes I did.

I also tried renaming the folder and changing it in the ini file but that did not help.

Probably problem with files of a car? carvariations.meta or vehicles.meta..... You should look and check.

I installed a variety of cars, some were shipped with meta files and some not.

It is the same problem with every car.

 

Even those where you just have to replace the ytd and yft files (applies to the car seen in the video)

And at what moment ceased to work? Right after the ELS installation or can after installation something another? When you established ELS you already had Make visuals great again?

That's the point... It never worked so far.

 

First time I installed ELS when I already had LSPDFR, some callouts and make visuals great again installed.

Then I removed make visuals great again.

After it was still not working I removed every single mod except Ragepluginhook, scripthook and  all the stuff you need to get ELS to work but even with this setup, I come to the same result as seen above.

 

Currently I'm re-downloading whole GTA V to install ONLY ELS on a clean install of GTA V.

Your topic has been moved to GTA V Support, this is not LSPDFR related.

You shouldn't ever need to redownload GTA V just for one mod unless that mod messed with core game files.

 

In OpenIV, go to ASI Manager and uninstall ASI Loader and OpenIV.ASI and then click install again to reinstall them. Next, restart your PC, and try loading into the game again and see if that works.

So... Back with a vanilla installation of GTA 5, I tried to get ELS to work again but unfortunatley  it did not.

 

I installed following:

Ragepluginhook

ScriptHook by AlexanderBlade

ASI Loader and OpenIV by OpenIV

ELS

 

And of course an ELS car.

 

I still end up with the same result as in my first post.

 

I have no more ideas, I hope some of you can help me.

Try my suggestion in the last post.  That should always work.

 

Also, if you have a "scroll lock" key, press that.  If you hear a beep, ELS should work now.

Unbelievable this was the solution...

Reinstalling the ASI loader and openiv and then rebooting did it.
