Verify your game files.  Right click GTA and verify.

ok, did that and when it finished it said "7 are required" but thats all it said and nothing else, not sure what that means

gave it another try, and ended with this, loaded rage and came up with the same thing

Then the only other way to really update your game is to reinstall GTA. :(

yep ATS, one of my favorite games. Ok i will re-install tomorrow and try again, thanks for the help, much appreciated!

No.

1. You can verify, which updates GTA.

2. Why am I giving you tips, you ruin peoples games anyways, Arariel.

3. You can download (NOT STEAM) updates and install them to update GTA.
