I want to thank you @Cyan for everything you do, I also read your post, but I did have a question. Do you guys post via twitter or Facebook when unexpected outages occur? Or should we continue as usual, assuming you guys are working diligently to resolve the issue?

    Right now we're not using social media at all for these outages; but we are aware when an outage occurs.

    I think ultimately we're intending to bring on our Content Team to the social media accounts, and they will be able to provide updates if they are around at the time of an outage.
