Hey I was wondering what slot is the default slot that LSPDFR uses for the state unit? I'd like to replace it with a CHP unit instead. I replaced police4 with an unmarked, and that popped up when i called for a state unit.

Police4 and policeb are the default LSPDFR highway patrol cars. You do not need to replace that slot with a CHP car, instead you could add on a CHP car or use an unused slot and add it to the backup.xml for state police to use instead of police4.

Say I want a CHP car to spawn instead of the bike when I call for State Backup, how would I go about doing that? And where can I find the backup.xml in the directory?

Hi there,

 

In the future, please create a new topic.  Don't bump one that is a year old.

 

The backup.xml is located in the GTA V directory-->lspdfr folder.

 

To edit it, scroll down until you find the state patrol response.  Just add a new line.

 

<Vehicle>police4</Vehicle>

<Vehicle>chp</Vehicle>

 

and so forth.  Make sure the V in both vehicle tags is capitalized, or it will not work.  If you need further help with this, please make a topic.
