. How to Install MODS in EFLC

Featured Replies

HI everyone there , i need some help in this , How do i install Mods in EFLC . and where to put the Visual setting ( luminescene mods )

there is no readme . how do you solve this error . for example some mods only have the readme for gta 4 . its doesnt state how to install it and make it work for EFLC , TGOBT , TLAD .

for example , if i am using ENB , some enb mod file only have the PC and common data for gta 4 . how to make it work it in EFLC , TGOBT or TLAD . is it by using by copy this PC and Common data files for GTA 4 and paste and replace it with the EFLC ,TGOBT ,TLAD PC and common data folder ,

currently i am playing EFLC , so where do i paste the visual settings , time cycles and popcycle and etc . some ppl say do not touch the EFLC PC and common data . Just Copy the files and replace in TGOBT folder

i will post some videos and pic to more clearly explained what is my error in a short time

you need to open TBoGT Component peds OR TLaD Component peds to actually edit uniform textures for the skinny cop, as for vehicles, just do like you would with IV, some lighting mod's come with folder's for TBoGT and TLaD, if you want visual settings to work at all in TBoGT or TLaD, you need to backup and replace whatever files your replacing, the deagle will not work if you just open weapons.img you need either TBoGT weapons.img or TLaD weapons.img for the extra weapon's which is just dumb seeing as it's part of the main story line, if you download a deagle mod or any kind of handgun you want too replace witht he deagle rename it to "w_e2_eagle.wtd" & "w_e2_eagle.wdr", remember, all 3 directories have 3 different set's of CDImages Files, for TBoGT and TLaD, look for them like you would with IV "TBoGT/pc/models/cdimages" "TLaD/pc/models/cdimages", i really don't like how it's set up at all, it get's frustrating, even replacing the cop model's in the EFLC directory, will not work, you have to go through the other game folders, sound's are the same as IV though, also, the "strooper" and "armoured guard" cannot be found in the sub folders of EFLC (TBoGT, TLaD) you have to edit them as well as "fatcop" in the MAIN EFLC cdimages, those are the cops you can edit there, NOT the skinny cop, the skinny cop can only be edited in the TLaD TBoGT cdimages folder/files, i hope i explained this as clear as possible, believe me, it's confusing as hell if all you have played is IV..

SIDE NOTE: Just an FYI do not take any handling.dat, vehicles.ide from IV and use it in EFLC it WILL cause you problem's, don't take anything but mod's from IV to EFLC, also, because the game can be so time consuming, if you have to do a reinstall, just before, i would export your vehicles, weapon's,sounds (the modded ones) script mods or any mod at all, even the EFLC Handling or vehicles.ide (if it's edited) and put all of it in seperate folder's so that if a reinstall is needed, you don't have to go through it all again and edit it again so on and so on, it's make you life ALOT easier, hope this helps!
