  • The whole Traffic Stop ambush concept only exists in Traffic Policer's ANPR Hit: Owner Wanted callout.  I could make it an ambient event too if people are interested.   Regs.

  • Sounds like most of you are talking about traffic stops spawned by a callout, like Albo's Traffic Policer for example. I have never seen the driver in a normal traffic stop (not spawned by a plugin) j

You definitely haven't experienced it yet.   I've had folks shoot me from the driver's seat and passenger seat. They've used firearms and tasers before.   Sometimes they get out to

I like to play LSPDFR realistically, relatively speaking, and in the US we don't have stationary ANPR systems that check cars at intersections/whatever (at least where I'm from).  I also don't like having to go code 3 to catch up to a vehicle that may or may not have a wanted occupant. That's something that would never happen in my part of the US.

With that said, I'm talking about the feature from LCPDFR where you could be ambushed on any stop, regardless of callout, and would love to see that implemented in LSPDFR.

Really? They really need to modernise themselves then, lots of arrests made here from those cameras detecting travelling criminals!

I'll see what I can do to make it ambient.

That would be awesome, particularly without the blips on, you'd never know what to expect.

We most definitely have ANPR cameras at intersections here. Have you ever seen those little domed cameras on the corners, usually near the red light cameras? If you were an LEO or a criminal being tracked by them, you would definitely know that.

As for the ANPR call-outs, they are some of my favorites. I take the call almost always prepared for a pursuit or firefight. Those are two of the most horrifying situations to be in as an officer, so I enjoy role-playing them versus actually experiencing them. Then again, that may also be subjective.

@Albo1125, an ambient event for this would be great. Here in Memphis, we most certainly have angry people who will pull a gun out and start shooting without provocation. You don't even need to be in a squad car. :teehee:

Well I don't live in Memphis, or even anywhere near Tennessee, so my point stands.
