How to create new vehicle slots?

Featured Replies

I had a 2015 Charger ELS installed in police2 and working fine. I then chose to install bxbugs 2013 charger using the openiv. installer. I didn't see any option asking what slot to install the vehicle and it chose police2, overwriting the 2015 charger. I'd like to keep the 2015 Charger but I need more slots. I've searched but am having a hard time finding out how to do this. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I also remembered I had installed the LSPD pack with 7 different vehicles. I see them in mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/lspdpack/dlc/rpf/x64/levels/gtav/vehicles/lspdpack.rpf but I don't knwo how to access them in the game.

It was on top of the page of the support subforum. I'd suggest that you make a research using the searchbar on the top right beforehand next time, your question might have been already answered before by someone else. Just saying though.

This is a dilemma that I have been trying to figure out. This is a great guide, and it helps a lot.

There are many tutorials out there through many outlets (this website, other similar websites, youtube, etc) Each tutorial uses pretty much the same method. However the trouble that I seem to run into is when I add a second vehicle (not first, the first one is added fine and works as intended) the game will crash - always at the same place in the opening screens, not when trying to load a vehicle.

I use the same method to create the second vehicle as the first, and duplicate names are not used. I have not been able to figure this out on my own and I am wondering if anyone else has run into the same sort of problem, and how they were able to correct it. Please don't feel as if I am attempting to Hijack your thread - this is not my intention. If I am running into this trouble using these tutorials, it is possible that you (or another person reading) may run into the same issues and this will save you some time :-)

Thanks guys! Happy modding!

you need a gameconfig mod, by default GTa5 can only handle one addon vehicle. I use the one below, 1x ped 1x traffic gta5 base.

https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/gta-5-gameconfig-300-cars

I did read that in the tutorial - as it was the first one that mentioned such a thing. I downloaded it last night, but did not play with it too much to see what happens.

Thanks for the insight! I will be monkeying with it tonight.

Appreciated!
