I just reinstalled ELS and it didn't load in game. I've installed it correctly, uninstalled it, tried different asi loaders and watched a few tutorials. I've installed it correctly and added the cars right but it won't load. Anyone else have this problem or know if I've forgotten to do something? Thanks. (I'm also fairly new to this to pls don rost mi)

there's your problem. Make sure you have "AdvancedHookV.dll" in your main GTA5 folder. This is what happens when you don't. There should be two AdvancedHookV files in the main folder. AdvancedHookV.dll and AdvancedHookV.asi.

How do I get the other one? Is there like a download or do I have to reinstall everything?

AdvancedHookV.dll is in the ELS archive "INSTALLATION FILES\Grand Theft Auto V". Just extract it to your desktop, and copy/move it to your GTA5 folder.

I'm having the same issue, but I have both these files in the main directory.

Try unblocking the AdvancedHookV.dll file via right click\properties and make sure your ScriptHookV is the latest.

I'm on the latest version of Scripthook. Unless ScriptHook stopped giving fatal errors about its version, although I'm pretty sure it is updated

Have you tried running RagePluginHook as admin (right click the .exe, run as admin)? Does it prompt you to 'unblock' any files? It looks like you got everything installed but that AdvancedHookV.dll file is being blocked for whatever reason.

Well i'll be damned. Turns out while uninstalling ELS and reinstalling it I must have deleted scripthook as well and I just readded it and it works! Thanks so much man!

Couldn't see that far down the file list in your screenshot so I took it for granted. Shit happens. Glad you got it working.

ELS is supposed to be activated (by default) by pressing the "J" key, right? I'm not sure why this wouldn't be activating. I also really didn't want to install ELS because I don't think it really adds much to the game (just my opinion and no knock on the hard work done to make it) because they're only lights, but there are some really nice cars made that I'd like to use.

I'm pretty sure that file comes with LSPDFR. 

 

My issue is resolved. Idiot me was using a non-ELS car when I thought it was an ELS car. The program is working as it should.
