Well I recently tried to play GTA and it now is saying when I download this http://www.dev-c.com/gtav/SCRIPTHOOKV it's saying I need a different version. It's not opening the game I even started a new folder and changed MP into SP. And it won't work. Is there other things I need to download instead of Scripthook V to work? I don't know any way around this to make the game start I just miss GTA 5. So if you can help me. THANKS!!!

Yes. You will need to install RAGEhook in order to get the game to work with mods. I strongly recommend installing both ScripthookV and RAGEhook before installing any mods.

 

So summarized: Download and install RAGEhook and ScripthookV. Start the game via the RAGEhook executable file located in the main directory of your copy of GTA V. If everything works fine and you can play the game after it had loaded, proceed to install LSPD:FR and/or other modifications to the game.

I tried it on my modded other account and it says the same thing that you need to dowbload scripthook V. and I already did. I also put the .049 RAGE version and it won't start the game. 

This is what it says but you can see all the files are in the folder. Before when I run in RAGE it says I need to update the game version. I run PlayGTAV.exe and it doesn't update. And this message pops up. But it's already installed.

You have an outdated version of ScriptHookV. Easy as that. Follow the link and instructions that are probably around a foot away from your face maximum and update it.

This is what version it downloads (1.0.944.2)

Maybe it's not working. I tried to delete the old files and then I copy and paste the new ones into it and it still doesn't work. I tried put .877 in there and that didn't work. I REALLY NEED HELP!!!!

I have no clue can you just tell me. IT'S SAYING THAT ONLY .877 IS SUPPOSED TO WORK  (LUCKILY I HAVE A BACKUP OF .877) BUT IT DOESN'T WORK. I DON'T GET IT. GRRRRRRRRRRR!!

I have the same issue. Any way to fix it?
