I downloaded a taco truck mod and just simply threw the .dll into the gta v>plugins>lspdfr folder. (Yes, I now realize this was not the place to put this in)

 

I also downloaded Lupin's More pedestrians and traffic + lunchxbles' Crouch Mod Patch V6 that made the traffic 8 times busier. 

 

I attempted to launch my game and this error message appeared: "Game Memory Error. Please reboot and restart."

 

I then removed the mod I installed and then used a vanilla gameconfig file, but to no avail, my game still pops up with "Game Memory Error. Please reboot and restart." on startup. 

These were the only two mods I have installed since the game was last working perfectly.

 

Please help!

 

(I also attempted to remove my mods folder, but that also did not work. I still receive the error.)

Did you accidentally modify your game files instead of the mod folder ?

Try to verify integrity of game cache thru steam if you own this thru steam.

Seems like your game data is corrupted.

Also if you install too many high poly mods or high 4k textures on vehicles the game will crash with memory error.

I have spoken to a friend of mine and resolved the issue. He stated it was because the mod I downloaded's gameconfig was out of date, and so was the vanilla one I tried to replace it with (because gta v just updated recently). He sent me his gameconfig over on google drive and it launched perfectly. Thank you for replying.
